Hey, I’m the admin / creator for The Chronicle flame page, and I would like to congratulate you on the amazing work. It is nothing short of incredible.
However, you said:
“So I guess I am writing this to apologise to Toowoomba State High School for The Chronicle making a story out of nothing”
You have nothing to apologise for, it was The Chronicle’s entire fault for publishing the story without even bothering to double-check it in any way, shape or form, and as a newspaper, they should know better.
Our Facebook page wasn’t aimed at the creator of the party, or the fact that they ruined it. It was solely because The Chronicle ran the story without having any proof at all, and this is even more apparent after reading your blog post.
My only issue, is that you beat us to it. My friends and I had a fake story feed planned out for early next week.
Congratulations once again, and you have my complete respect.
This blog makes me happy. the kind of happy where, if I could hand write a compliment it’d be in crayon.
